New York First Responder Benefit Program
Unfortunately we know firefighters are at higher risk for certain types of cancer. And with that diagnosis comes major costs. At Futurity First, we can relieve some of that financial and emotional burden with our benefit program effective January 1, 2022.
Offering three forms of protection, it has two distinct coverage plans that are designed to help provide financial support for eligible volunteer firefighters diagnosed with cancer, and their families.

Partnership Opportunities with Futurity First
If you are an agent and interested in partnering with Futurity First, schedule a call with our local branch office to learn more.
Effective January 1, 2022, all NY agents appointed with The Hartford to sell insurance as part of the New York State Volunteer Firefighter Cancer Benefit Program will need to sign a new contract with Futurity First to keep their appointment active in January 2022.
Earlier this summer, the New York State Volunteer Firefighter Cancer Program administration transferred from Willis to Alliant. To improve brokerage distribution supporting the program, Futurity First Insurance Group (FFIG) will assist local brokers in managing the payment of participating agent compensation, quoting and binding coverage, and the communication of the program directly to fire entities.
Schedule a call to learn more about the program and request a contract with Futurity First for new or previously appointed agents to avoid gaps in your current appointment status with The Hartford. Please allow a 5-10 minute grace period for your call.
THE SPECIFIED DISEASE POLICY PROVIDES LIMITED BENEFITS FOR SPECIFIED DISEASES ONLY. This limited health benefit plan (1) does not constitute major medical coverage, and (2) does not satisfy the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) because the coverage does not meet the requirements of minimum essential coverage.
