In May 2023, Dan Michel joined Futurity First as the General Manager of the Upstate New York branch. He will be leading the new branch as it opens.
Dan’s career started back in 1996 as an advisor for Mutual of Omaha. Throughout his career, he has held multiple leadership positions that focus on driving production and results as well as recruiting new talent. Some of his previous leadership positions include General Manager of Central New York Division Offices at Mutual of Omaha, Senior Managing Director at Vision Financial Group, and Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for Mass Mutual in their upstate New York offices. Over the years, Dan has earned his LUTCF and SIE industry certifications. He currently holds his L&H, Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses.
Dan lives in Syracuse, New York with his wife, Lori, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys engaging in sports and has helped coach local youth teams in basketball, lacrosse, and football.
