David J. Schlesser Joins FUTURITY FIRST Insurance Group as Branch Manager for Southwest Chicago

Rocky Hill, CT  May 12, 2008 – FUTURITY FIRST Insurance Group (FFIG) has announced the appointment of David J. Schlesser as  Branch Manager of the FUTURITY FIRST Branch office in Southwest Chicago. The announcement was made by Edward Berube, CEO and President of FFIG. The new branch will be located Orland Park, IL.

FFIG is a new nationwide, independent insurance company focusing on the financial security, health insurance and retirement needs of middle income families and small businesses. The company is opening community-based branches in selected locations across the United States.

As Branch Manager of the Southwest Chicago office, Schlesser is responsible for developing the FUTURITY FIRST presence and customer base in this market area, including the active recruitment of financial professionals attracted to FFIG’s unique career opportunity and marketing strategy.

A resident of Tinley Park, Schlesser has 16 years of experience developing and managing insurance and financial services agencies.  He has been affiliated with such well-known companies as MetLife, New York Life, and Principal Financial Group. Most recently, Schlesser was general agent for Guardian Life. In 2007 he was honored by the General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA International) as a Bronze agency manager qualifier. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Schlesser has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from The American College and is a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).
