About Matthew

Matt grew up in Redmond, went to school in Wenatchee and Bellingham. Since then he has lived at Snoqualmie Pass, Seattle, and now calls Issaquah home.

After college Matt worked in the snow sports industry working his way up to management, with jobs ranging from equipment operator and mechanic, to avalanche control and backcountry snowcat skiing guide and operator. This lead into the retail marine industry where he spent many years as the manager of an exclusive waterski and wakeboard boat dealership. His excellent customer service and business skills lead Matt to the insurance industry.

He enjoys learning the value of smart planning with insurance and safe investments. Futurity First Insurance Group offers Matt a career that inspires him and provides an opportunity to have a positive influence on people’s lives. While working at Banker’s Life and Casualty, he saw the advantages Futurity First had to offer. He now has access to so many industry leading companies and their many products and knows he can offer the best available products to clients. Matt specializes in Life, Health (Medicare), Long Term Care, Fixed and Indexed Annuities Insurance.

Matt and his wife Caroline have 2 daughters, who are ages 3 and 4 months. They live outside of Issaquah and when he’s not spending time with his family or working on his property, Matt is in the Mountains he loves nearby.
