About John

John is a Financial Advisor with Futurity First Insurance Group serving the north Houston and Montgomery County areas.  Prior to joining Futurity, John represented Bankers Life and Casualty Company providing insurance solutions with a focus on retirement planning and senior product lines.  While working with Bankers Life, John was a sales leader and won multiple regional achievement awards.  John was a senior agent at the Houston office and provided training to agents through mentorship and sales leadership development.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, John grew up in a Christian home and was raised by his mother.  After his father’s death when John was a young boy, John experienced early on - the importance of protecting an estate from the potential loss of a loved one as a result of life’s unexpected tragedies.

With over 23 years experience as a business professional, early in John’s career, he studied property management and real estate brokerage at Denver’s Auraria campus in order to help manage the family’s real estate investments then went on to study business management at the University of Phoenix while working as a contracts administrator for a fortune 500 company.   

John has dedicated his Financial Advisory Practice in the senior and business markets and is continually educating himself through State licensing and compliancy requirements, Certification required completion of Medicare’s multiple coverage offerings, course completion requirements by individual carriers and higher educational programs and specialty certification professional designation studies through the IBF Institute of Business & Finance and the American College.
