Michael Schulitz Joins Futurity First Insurance Group as Head of Sales Development & Operations

Rocky Hill, CT (June 1, 2010) Futurity First Insurance Group, a nationwide insurance distribution organization specializing in financial security for families, seniors, small businesses and the self-employed, today announced the appointment of Michael Schulitz, CFP®, to Senior Vice President of Sales Development & Operations.

In this new position at Futurity First, Mr. Schulitz will have responsibility for Product and Business Development, Operations, Field Training and Field Information Technology.

Mr. Schulitz comes to Futurity First from Lincoln Financial Group most recently as Sales Vice President in charge of life insurance and linked benefit products supporting their independent distribution channel.  Prior to that, he held the position of Assistant Vice President focusing on life insurance strategies.  Mr. Schulitz also held positions at MetLife, Prudential Securities and Ivy Funds where he was the Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales & Marketing.

A graduate of Union College, Mr. Schulitz earned his MBA from New York University and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.   He currently resides in Simsbury, CT.
